CYCLONE SADIE'S
SALOON
(1973 - 1995)
This attaction was first called the "Ninth Street Incline" and located exactly where Cyclone Sadies Arcade is today, in Americana. This attaction used a slanted roof, fake doors and other optical illusions to create a sort of fun house. It also included a mirror room that was located where "Spittin Image" is today. This made the room seem like it went on to infinity. Around the mid 1980s the attraction was renamed to the "Great American Disaster". When it became "Cyclone Sadie's Saloon" in 1995 to accompany the Cyclone Sam's Ride, WOF added a mannequin of Cyclone Sadie to one corner of this attraction. Finally, at the end of the 1995 season, this attraction was removed and the building was used for an Arcade.
