The Safari was located in Africa about were the Python Plunge is today. In fact, the Zulu's Q-line was the original Q-line for the Safari. Riders would depart in Jeeps (sort of similar to Le Taxi Tour) and after riding under the left train trestle would take a small somewhat circular ride where they would encounter statues of african animals (such as a hippo or rhino) and recorded noises of the animals. They would then return under the train trestels that guests now walk under to get to the Python Plunge. At night this ride would be much more interesting since everything seemed a little more real in the dark....
