PANDEMONIUM!
1987-1996
The mascot was P.J. the panda, the little brother of Sam Panda. Pandemonium was added with high hopes that it would replace Half-Pint's Peak and Humptys Haven in Scandinavia. To me, this was Worlds Of Fun for my generation of the eighties. All of my generation who are now adults, but we remember the Smurfs and Rainbow Bright, they both appeared in the Panda Pavilion in the 80's. Pandemonium also included many rides which are listed below and Lucky Wendy's, which served peanut butter jelly sandwichs and other kid oriented food in the restarant known for its tall tower. Also there was the Soda Sipper, or the small drink fountain located right by the Too Too Train but just never seemed to be open. There was also P.J's Clubhouse, a souvinir store that is now Lauchpad. This grand scheme of Worlds Of Fun only lasted nine years, and was replaced by Bearenstain Bear Country in 1997.

Either Oar was added in 1986 for the addition of Pandemonium. It is still located in Bear Country. Basically, this is a small canoe ride that small children can float or paddle through a small water course.
TURN TYKE 1987
This ride was added for Pandemonium also. This is a basic car ride that children can still ride stationary cars and motorcycles on this basic circular ride.

THE OCTOPUS 1973
This was the home to this ride from 1983 (Aerodrome) until 1996. It was located in the center of Pandemonium and was removed for a year from the park after the removal of Pandemonium. It is now located in Scandinavia. For more information on this ride click here

SWING-A-LING
This ride is still located in Bearenstain Bear Country. It consists of a circular spinning ride that is very similar to the Flying Dutchman, but much, much smaller.
KIDDIE-OPOLIS
This was basically a climbing/ball crawl area for children to play in. It was taken out between 1994-1995 simply because it was getting too old.

TOT'S YACHT'S
This ride was originally located in Scandinavia, where the Fjord Fjarlene is now. It was moved to Pandemonium when Pandemonium originally opened. This ride is still located in Bearenstain Bear Country. It is a small circular boat ride that children ride in small boats where they can turn the wheel and ring the bell.
