Welcome to the African Section of Worlds of Fun. Africa is home to the most violent rides of the entire park. It is home to five different rides, each one with a temper of its own.
THE ZULU
Man is this one ride! This ride is notorious for making people sick. The basic premises is that it spins, goes up into the air and takes you to a literal 90 degree tilt where your face to face with the ground, while rotating in the air! The Zulu is only for those brave ones out there! For more information on this ride Click Here.
PYTHON PLUNGE
Don't walk over the bridge and miss this ride! This ride is composed into four seperate hydroflumes, speed flumes and serpent flumes. Yes, that's right, I said slides and these are water slides, but no bathing suit required because you are in a raft. The speed slides are faster, while the serpent slides are inclosed and follow a curved "serpent-like" route.
FURY OF THE NILE
After going under the train bridge you can either go left or right. To the left is Fury Of The Nile, built by Intamin Inc. This is one of Worlds Of Fun's most popular rides. It is a river rapids ride composed of rapids, geysers and waterfalls in 850,000 gallons of water! Each raft holds six people and has an approximate running time of four and a half minutes. You are almost guaranteed to get wet on this ride thanks to the.. Well I will let you find out for yourself! For more information on this ride Click Here.

MONSOON
The last ride in Africa is The Monsoon. The only ride shared by both Worlds Of Fun and Oceans of Fun. This is a water ride also. Basically, your in a giant boat that holds twenty people (you get wet if you sit in the front). It then speeds down a 50-foot waterfall, accelerating to speeds up to 35 mph. Finally, crashing into a 425,000 gallon lagoon. This creates a giant tidal wave that hits anyone standing on the bridge. For more information on this ride Click Here.
