HALF PINT'S PEAK 1977-1986/HUMPTY'S HAVEN 1978-1987

Boy this must have been the place to be as a kid during the 70's and early 80's! This area included both Half Pint's Peak, Humpty's Haven and the Alpine Village Petting Zoo! This area was all situated around the Ski Heis and when it was taken out, everything else left too. Another factor for the demise of this children's area was the creation on Pandemonium in 1986. Scadinavia at one time also included most of the childrens rides which will be included on this page also. For information on each attraction see below.

HALF PINT'S PEAK: 1977 - 1986

This childrens area was located in Scandinavia where the Tivoli Terrace is now. It was a childrens playground including cargo nets, a giant foam mountain and a cable slide. This was located about where Tivoli Central is today.

HUMPTY'S HAVEN: 1978 - 1987

Humpty's Haven was added the following year in 1978 to Half Pint's Peak and included the Ball Crawl Pavilion and a puppet show named Humpty's Show Chateau. This attraction did not meet the same fate as Half Pint's Peak in 1986. This area was probably discontinued when the Sky Heis was taken out in 1987.

ALPINE VILLAGE PETTING ZOO: 1977 - 1986

I am pretty sure that the petting zoo was added in conjuction with Half Pint's Peak but I am not totally sure. This area was a small petting zoo for small children that was located in the vicitity of the Tivoli West and Central today.

MICRO MOTO BAHN: 1977 - PRESENT

This was the last part of the Scandinavian Children's area to leave. It even included a small set of playground equipment when it was located in Scandinavia. This ride is basically a circular car and motorcycle ride that children can ride and turn the handles. This ride was moved to Bearenstain Bear Country in 1996.

COPTER RIDE: UNKNOWN

I don't know much about this ride except that it was located in Scadinavia. It is rumored that this is the exact same ride as Bounce-A-Roo's, but with the cars changed.

TOT'S YAUCT'S: UNKNOWN - PRESENT

This ride was located exactly where the Fjord Fjarlene is today. It is basically a small circular boat ride for small children in a small moat. This ride was moved to Pandemonium when it opened in 1986. It was replaced shortly by a ride named the Red Baron (Kiddy Hawk Airlines). For more information on this ride see the Bearenstain Bear Country Page.
